Melges24 World Championship 2025

The opening event of the MELGES 24 World Championships 2025 took place in the courtyard of the San Giusto Castle, one of the symbol of the city.

For the first time in history, the Melges 24 World Champs takes place in the Adriatic Sea, in Trieste, marking a significant milestone for the class.

The city’s deep connection to sailing, its ideal wind conditions and the expertise of the organiser, the Yacht Club Adriaco, make it a natural choice to welcome the world’s best Melges 24 teams.

73 teams representing 16 nations will race in the gulf of Trieste for the title, the medals, the glory! The ceremony hosted by the MC Stefano Ceiner.
